Description

Our Introduction to Entrepreneurship program combines the exploration of entrepreneurship fundamentals with immersive, hands-on activities. Students will learn key traits of successful entrepreneurs, explore third-party business involvement, and practice evaluating business options. The program includes pitching, jingle making, and product promotion, with guest judges providing expert feedback. Using the Business Model Canvas, students will identify their target audience and receive rubrics to guide their pitches to potential investors. Teamwork is emphasized, with roles divided among creating stickers, posters, and jingles. Additionally, industry videos provide 30-second snapshots of various sectors, highlighting their needs and operations. Finishing the day with a marketplace activity providing practical experience, developing critical thinking and decision-making skills for future entrepreneurial ventures.
