Description

Students create a twist on a story to recreate an original storyboard for a movie. Skills developed will include; storyboarding and scripting directions for filming, digital illustration and special effects, camera techniques and voicing techniques. This program connects English skills in planning, brainstorming, writing and communicating to an audience for a specific purpose with effect and using creative design to demonstrate industry practice in the film industry and ends with a movie premiere

  • Analyse narrative elements and visual conventions used in film and storytelling.
  • Create and refine storyboards that convey a clear sequence, mood, and character development.
  • Use cinematic and literary techniques to reimagine texts in visual formats.
  • Collaborate to pitch and critique creative concepts aligned with production roles in film/media.
