As part of Education Week the Box Hill Institute, Yarra Ranges Tech School Steering Committee and staff are inviting members of the Yarra Ranges community to join them for an afternoon focused on skills, employment and technology.

The Future of Skills: Employment in an Era of Robots and Automation will showcase Yarra Ranges Tech School to the broader community through workshops and an open house on May 22nd. Yarra Ranges Tech School learning spaces and technology labs will be accessible during the tour with attendees having the opportunity to directly interact with several of the Technologies employed by the Tech School.

Leading into the tour we are proud to be hosting a panel of key industry representatives who will provide an outline of their industry, the skills being sought and share experiences of their own journeys in the area of STEM, robots and automation. Facilitated by Vivienne King, CEO Box Hill Institute the panel will feature:

• Rhianne Burroughs, VEX Robots Coach and Teacher, Templestowe College

• Sarav Martin, Business Growth Strategist, Mobile Automation

• Emma Bebe, Senior Sales Specialist, Robotics Service, ABB

• Eileen Kershaw, Group Human Resources Manager, ANCA
