Description
What skills do you need to succeed in the future of agriculture and agribusiness?
Designed for VCE VM students, this hands-on program explores innovation, sustainability, and enterprise through the lens of modern agriculture. Through industry engagement, practical activities, and collaborative challenges, students develop technical, employability, and workplace skills while investigating emerging technologies, clean energy, and agricultural innovation.
Available as a 3–6 day program, students explore the Yarra Ranges agricultural industry through site visits, workplace documentation, environmental testing, safety investigations, and enterprise development. Working in teams, they analyse industry challenges, develop innovative solutions, and create a marketable agri-business, product, service, or tourism experience that is prototyped and pitched to an audience.
The program explicitly supports VCE VM Work Related Skills outcomes, including planning, safe work practices, collaboration, communication, technology use, and presentation of solutions in authentic workplace contexts.
