Last week we had a great opportunity to facilitate online to the fantastic students of Yarra Hills Secondary College. This wonderful group of Year 8 students worked throughout the day to ideate and design their own sustainable house using Energy 3D software. We were impressed with the students’ knowledge of sustainable materials, informed design choices and willingness to try and share new ideas.
Once the students had created their homes in Energy 3D they proceeded to use Garden planner software to carefully and thoughtfully use the outside space to enhance their eco status. It was great to see students giving special thought to veggie gardens, animal care and using plants and trees to help keep their homes at a perfect temperature.
It was fantastic to see such innovation and enthusiasm from the students and we look forward to welcoming them on site to the Tech School to further their ideas.
