In collaboration with Yarra Valley Tourism and OLLEN, this two-day program provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with a real-world brief from the industry. Day one will be hosted at the YRTS campus, where students will work individually or in teams, utilizing the resources available to design innovative solutions and prototype their products or prepare engaging presentations that market a service or experience. These sessions will be led by the YRTS team and students will have the ability to develop a verity of ideas. Students my choose to develop a sky diving experince or a new product for one of the many tourist destionations in the Yarra Valley.
On day two, after having several weeks away from YRTS to develop their ideas students will engage remotely from their respective schools. Students will pitch there now completed ideas to the YRTS staff. All students will receive formative feedback from the YRTS team and those who are selected will have the opportunity to pitch their idea to the Yarra Valley Sharks at YRTS. Throughout the program, participants will have continued access to YRTS resources and are able to book additional days to better develop their ideas. We want Yarra Ranges youth to become entrepreneurs that drive their future economy.
