This program requires 1 day visit to the Yarra Ranges Tech School.

Curriculum Level

This program is suitable for students from level 7 to level 10.

This program introduces students to urban farming practices. Students will investigate current trends and explore the application of technology and innovation that can benefit or enhance current agricultural practices.

Students will first be immersed in a real-time simulation environment, responding to different scenarios by identifying, implementing, and evaluating solutions to designing an urban farm and keeping it operating productively.

Using the knowledge gained students will than, use Garden planner app to plan their own urban farms and pitch ideas.
