Students will explore sustainable housing with the STELR Sustainable Housing Kits. They’ll investigate the thermal properties of materials, construct a model house, and use data loggers to monitor temperature changes. This project enhances their understanding of sustainable design, data analysis, and teamwork.

Key Learning Objectives

Students will gain a deeper understanding of sustainable housing principles, including the importance of energy-efficient materials and design.
Students will use critical thinking and problem-solving to solve practical problems related to energy efficiency and thermal properties.
Data Analysis: by using data loggers to monitor temperature changes, students will develop data analysis skills, including data collection, and interpretation.
Teamwork: Collaborative construction of the model house and the coordination required for data monitoring will enhance students’ teamwork and communication skills.
