Discover the convergence of science and design through this innovative course, aligning seamlessly with the Victorian Curriculum for both Science 7-10 and Design Technology 7-10. By harnessing the power of littleBits/Codebit, students embark on a dynamic journey of programming electronic circuits. They will master block coding, enabling them to control and manipulate data logging, LED animations, and more. The course extends into the realm of wearable technology, fostering an understanding of integrating technology into everyday objects. With an emphasis on electronics, coding, and design, students will be equipped to navigate future pathways in technology, engineering, and innovative design. This course ignites the spirit of innovation, aligning with the curriculum’s emphasis on practical application, scientific inquiry, and design thinking. Through this interdisciplinary exploration, students acquire a unique skill set poised for success across diverse disciplines.

Students will learn basic electronics using littleBits/Codebit to build and program circuits, log and display data or to create animation on an LED display.
