Description
What stories matter to you, and how can your voice be heard?
In this media production experience, students step into the world of podcasting to plan, produce, and publish their own short podcast – blending media literacy, audio storytelling, and graphic design. Using our fully-equipped mobile podcasting studio, they take on creative media roles to craft authentic audio stories, design eye-catching podcast branding, and develop skills in digital storytelling, collaboration, and communication.
Working in small production teams, students:
– Develop engaging discussion content based on a theme or topic of interest.
– Write scripts or run sheets, considering audience, tone, and purpose.
– Record, edit, and mix audio using professional-grade tools to produce a high-quality final product.
– Design a unique podcast logo to reflect their show’s identity, theme, and target audience.
Whether delivered or hosted at your school, this program empowers students to find and amplify their voice through digital media.
