Description
How can we harness one of nature’s most powerful forces to generate clean energy?
In this hands-on engineering program, students investigate how wind can be transformed into electricity through innovative design and technology. Using CAD software, students design and test their own wind turbine blades, exploring how shape, size and angle impact performance. They evaluate designs using wind energy testing systems and analyse real-world data to improve efficiency.
Students also explore how wind patterns influence energy generation through interactive visualisation tools and gain insight into careers in the renewable energy sector through immersive virtual reality experiences. By combining engineering design, data analysis and renewable energy concepts, students discover the challenges and opportunities of powering communities with wind energy.
