We are excited to announce a new event at YRTS to promote inclusion in Tech specifically designed for LGBTIQ+ students/community and Allies for all our partner schools (all year levels).
This is a unique opportunity to make friends in a safe and inclusive environment, learn about technology and have fun! You will hear LGBTIQ+ speakers from the STEM industry and get involved in fun skill-building activities such as VR art play and badge making (to create pronoun badges of slogans of affirmations to create awareness for LGBTIQ+ community).
All students are welcome!
Note: **Students will not have to disclose their identity and will not be asked to ‘prove’. Allies are welcome and everyone interested to foster a sense of community, make friends and feel included in a safe environment.
