Description
What does the world look like through a different lens?
In this hands-on program, students use cutting-edge imaging technologies to explore hidden perspectives and create unique digital artwork. Using FLIR thermal cameras and digital microscopes, students capture images that reveal heat patterns, microscopic fibres and details invisible to the naked eye.
Students then investigate how machines see the world, using robotic dogs and 3D scanning technology to collect data and generate point-cloud models of real environments.
Finally, students enhance their images using digital design software and transform their designs into a personalised product using vinyl printing and heat-transfer technology.
By combining photography, robotics, digital design and emerging technologies, students discover new ways of seeing, interpreting and communicating the world around them.
