Description
Students explore how current and emerging technologies are transforming agriculture, from smart crop and livestock monitoring to automated harvesting and distribution. Using real-time sensor data and regional case studies, they investigate how environmental factors and local innovation shape farming practices.
A guided visit to a local agricultural site (location varies) connects theory with practice. Students then apply their learning in a fast-paced design sprint, developing solutions to real-world challenges drawn from the Yarra Ranges agricultural community
