Description
What combination of renewable energy technologies could power the world sustainably?
In this interactive program, students investigate a range of renewable energy sources including solar, hydroelectric and wind power. Using hands-on testing equipment, they compare how different technologies generate and transfer energy and evaluate the strengths and limitations of each system.
Students experiment with multi-energy systems, collect performance data and apply their findings to a design challenge focused on creating efficient and sustainable energy solutions. The program culminates in a renewable energy vehicle challenge where students test and optimise energy-powered cars using a variety of clean energy sources.
Through experimentation, problem-solving and design thinking, students explore how renewable technologies can work together to create a more sustainable future.
